Rod Seals are Hydraulic Seals used in the cylinder head which seal against the rod/shaft of the Hydraulic Cylinder. Chosen from a number of profiles depending on the dimension, Pressure and other factors, Piston Seals are always Static Seals. Unlike Piston Seals, Rod Seals have it sealing surface on the inner side of the seal.
