Step Seals are single acting seals which are combination of Scraper and O-Ring. The pressurised O-Ring in the inner side of the Scraper gives tension to the Scraper that exerts the sealing pressure to the walls of the hydraulic cylinder brining up the right sealing performance. The higher hardness of the scraper in the sealing surface gives the design a better extrusion resistance.
